Local sporting facilities include indoor swimming pool, a sports centre, in Kingsbridge, golf courses, horse riding, tennis courts, diving, sea and fresh water fishing. The Ley is a haven for bird watchers, where there are two hides within a short walk
Start Bay, in which Torcross is situated, is a unique stretch of coastline with spectacular landforms and beautiful panoramic views.

There are many fine beaches and wonderful walks to be taken along the South West Coastal path, which passes our door.
